IT Infrastructure

IT Infrastructure, Including Servers, Storage, Cloud, Networks, Desktops
Cloud computing has become much more prevalent in recent times. However, most IT infrastructure on campuses today includes a mix of campus-based resources and cloud-based resources. This assessment would include examining the balance of leveraging the cloud vs. maintaining a campus hosted environment. It will also assess central storage deployment, use of virtual servers, virtual desktops, and virtual networks to support the overall infrastructure. Equally important to evaluate is the current population of workstations, how they are deployed and managed and what automation software has been deployed. Finally, since wireless technologies support the mobile, BYOD, and computing anytime anyplace practices, it would be wise to examine the current state of the wireless as well as wired infrastructure.
What We Do
Technology Assessments
Today's technology is creating increased demand and changes in the expectations, consumption, and delivery of services. In addition, technology that was new ten or more years ago has become obsolete and requires investment to replace or renew.
IT Security Posture And Planning
There isn’t a more important function of IT today than information security. With security breaches, malware and ransomware attacks, and intrusions on information privacy at all time highs it is critical to assess the current IT security program.
